After the tragedy of 9/11 US airlines where on the verge of bankruptcy and the US government had to bail them out. Airlines stopped paying commission to travel agents to cut expenses.
If you sell air tickets for domestic travel you will NOT be paid a commission. Unless you CHARGE a service fee for your time.
